This skill will tell you if there are any targets (or monsters) in your surrounding area. The accuracy of the information you get depends upon how good you are at the skill. It has superior range, compared with the scan skill.
Example: >scout North: 1 - [2] a worker South: 2 - mercenary ...means that there are 2 workers 1 step north and 1 mercenary 2 steps south.
Scouting your vicinity costs 3-6 movement points.
