General

Scanners are people who have strong psychic abilities. However they also believe that a strong physical body will aid them in the quest for more powerful psychic powers. This usually enables them to have a quite competent hand-to-hand fighting ability as well as a limited range of psi-powers. Whilst not quite as proficient in combat as some, the delicate balance of skills and powers they have achieved makes them a force to be reckoned with.
