Monomer was an old-school immortal, creating areas in the dim and distant past. He also worked as Alien Resources Manager, handling applications for immortality.

Monomer made the following zones: Below Levels, The Restricted Quadrant and MEL Cyberspace

Classic stuff. Come back to us if you're reading this, Monomer! Monomer also introduced the convention that the '00' numbered room in a zone should be an 'immroom'. A place where immortals other than the area's creator could learn the purpose of the zone, and get any inside information that would be of use to them. Immrooms are always set up as death traps. Mortals will never teleport into one.
