This skill gives you an approximate idea of the cash value of an item - assuming that you can find somebody who is prepared to buy it off you! Note that most shopkeepers only give you a fraction of an item's worth, however - if they are prepared to fence it at all. Also, if you fail the skill roll, the information you get will be wildly inaccurate!

New in November 2010: on a successful skill roll, when examining a hypospray or similar item, you will be told how many charges it appears to have left.

Because you have to stop and think when you use this skill, it costs a few movement points.
